Set of 2 original vintage stamps issued in 1964 to mark the International Years of the Quiet Sun (1964–1965). Designed by Sebastião Rodrigues, one of the most important Portuguese graphic designers of the 20th century, responsible for some of the country's most iconic posters, visual identities, and book covers, and printed by Casa da Moeda. A beautiful example of Portuguese modernism from the 60s: simple, geometric, and surprisingly contemporary.
Perfect for adding a special touch to letters, gift wraps, and creative projects, or simply for framing as small pieces of Portuguese graphic design.
